Ed “Panama” Arguello
Ed “Panama” Arguello is a multilingual singer and songwriter. Rooted in reggae & latin music, Panama was a DJ From NYC To Montauk Point playing such clubs and venues as SOB’s, Irving Plaza, The Shelter to The Hamptons, Conscience Point, Flying Point, Harbor House, East Hampton Point and Dublin Over. As a singer, Panama linked with Shockshine, toured extensively and opened for legendary acts such as: Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Toots & The Maytals, Yellowman, Everton Blender, The Sugarhill Gang and many more. Panama has Released three albums of original music and continues to write and perform.
Drew Bertrand
Drew Bertrand is a career drummer/multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer, and audio engineer. Aside from extensive touring experience playing a wide variety of genres, Drew has been responsible for over 300 recordings in which he tracked, mixed, and produced, ranging from film scores to all genres of contemporary music (jazz, pop, funk, reggae, blues, folk, rock, jam, metal, and more). Drew has worked with a wide array of players and writers such as Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead), Jeff Matson and the Zen Tricksters, Buddy Cage (New Riders of the Purple Sage), Bill Ortiz (Santana), Earl "Chinna" Smith (Bob Marley), Vince Welnick (Grateful Dead), Alex Wurman (Grammy winning film composer), David Murray (Jazz), Roger Lian (Grammy nominated mastering engineer), Teddy Kumpel (Joe Jackson, Grammy nominated) to name a few.
Matthew Hansen
Matthew Hansen is a guitarist based out of Brooklyn, New York, currently involved in multiple projects, performing from NYC to Montauk. Originally from Eastern Long Island, Matthew first arrived on the scene performing with a variety of blues, rock, funk and R&B bands. Shortly before going to college, Matthew became interested in jazz and studied with notable teachers such as Paul Goodman, Paul Malloy, and Richard Rabatin. Matthew has since gone on to study and perform different styles from around the world and cites Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, John Coltrane, Miles Davis and Paco De Lucia as influences, to name a few. His style has been called a concoction of funky blues meets latin jazz.
James Pipa
James Pipa has been part of the Long Island/NYC reggae scene for many years and has played guitar and bass for a number of reggae groups in the area. Lately he has been producing reggae music for a number of Jamaican artists including Lutan Fyah, Warrior King, and Iba MaHr, as well as reggae legend Watty Burnett from The Congos.
Colin Turner
Colin Turner is a career musician and music therapist. Colin has been the keyboardist of Project Vibe for over a decade. He provides an array of styles to the music of Project Vibe bringing his years of experience in jazz, classical, rock, funk, and jam to the Roots Reggae sound of Project Vibe. When not sharing the stage with Project Vibe, Colin provides music therapy for a variety of individuals ranging in age and conditions.
